The Dregs
If memories of the past, ancient habit patterns or the culmination
of significant family issues seem intensified right now, chances are this
experience relates to the dregs of Saturn's transit through Cancer, which
completes upon Saturn's move into Leo July 16. This is a good time to look at where we have put
our deep feeling, our true emotional energy, over the last two years, and
evaluate whether and how this placement of our emotional energy has brought
rewards. We are probably emotionally tougher and more resilient in some
way than we were two years ago, as a result of dealing with the demands of
matters related to family and home in a more concerted way. If we have
done our work well, we have probably matured emotionally, and become wiser
in the ways of the emotional, domestic or relational worlds. Saturn's move from Cancer to Leo is not a huge shift in essential motivation--Leo
is still a very personal and tribal sign. We may continue to see a
focus on family matters, especially those revolving around children and children's
rights, expressions and obligations. Yet rather than being primarily motivated
by security and protection, as we may have been under Saturn in Cancer, under
Saturn in Leo we have ideally shored up our inner emotional and outer practical
bases and are thus freed to focus on heart-felt creativity. Using the next
two years to structure creative output that expresses the inner artist, the
inner lover, the inner child or inner executive (who's good at motivating
and managing people well) will be a great use of the Saturn in Leo energy.
A heavy concentration of Leo energy at this New Moon (Mercury, Venus, Saturn)
plus Mercury retrograde in Leo intensifies the focus on reorganizing our minds

may come your way this month. It's a great

The spotlight shines on you this month, so
use it to your advantage. Put your best foot forward and consider
